How do I download my boarding passes to my phone?

With the help of the Akasa Air mobile app, you can easily download your boarding pass. Simply log in to the app and go to your flight details. You will be able to see the option of downloading your boarding pass.being able to download it in a PDF format.

Is app check in mandatory?

Yes. App check in has been made mandatory by the DGCA in May 2020, a few months before the airports were allowed to function. This step was taken by the government in order to restrict the spread of the coronavirus during the early months of the pandemic.

What are the consequences of not doing your app check in?

You will not be able to choose your preferred seats or pre-book any of the add on services we provide.

Can you book an in-flight meal while doing your app check in?

Yes, you can easily book a delicious meal prepared by Cafe Akasa while doing your web check in.

How much will I have to pay as a penalty if I fail to do my app check in?

The penalty amount you will be required to pay will vary from airport to airport.

What details will I be required to submit while doing the app check in?

To do your mobile check in, you will need your PNR/Booking Reference Number. In addition to the same, you will also have to enter your email address or last name at the time of checking in to proceed.

Yes. You will be required to declare your health while doing the app check-in. This was mandated by the DGCA as well in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Make your travel more seamless as you opt for Auto Check-in, our service that automatically checks you in for your flight between 48 hours and 6 hours prior to domestic and international departure.

With Auto Check-in, you will be assigned a system-generated seat on board your flight.

If you still wish to select your preferred seat, please continue to Web Check-in.

How it works?

Step 1:

Visit www.akasaair.com or our Mobile App and click on the Check-in tab

Step 2:

Enter your PNR and last name or email address to proceed

Step 3:

Select the passengers for check-in and click on ‘Auto Seat Assign’

Step 4:

Agree to the safety and security information in order to proceed

Step 5:

Your request for auto check-in is now submitted and will be processed

Step 6:

Your e-boarding pass will be sent to the registered email address within 6 hours prior to flight departure

Please note: For international flights, while passengers are permitted to web check-in for their flights their e-boarding pass will not be emailed. Passengers are required to report at the check-in counters for the purposes of verification of travel documents in order to obtain their physical boarding pass and proceed with their travel.

Auto check-in is available for all passengers except:

• Unaccompanied minors

• Wheelchair passengers

• Passengers travelling with pets
