1. Umananda Temple and Island

Umananda Island, also called the Peacock Island due to its shape and structure, is the smallest river island in the world! On top of the island, floating in the middle of the Brahmaputra is a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, known as the Umananda Temple.
