7. Bull Temple

The Bull Temple or Nandi Temple is one of Bengaluru's most ancient temples and a must-visit place. Locals refer to the temple as 'Dodda Basavana Gudi,' and it is the world's largest temple dedicated to Nandi. According to Hindu mythology, Nandi, the bull, is Lord Shiva's mount or vahana and the guardian god of Lord Shiva's dwelling, Kailashagiri. Because Nandi is so important to Lord Shiva, this temple is a must-see for every follower of Lord Shiva.

The Bull Temple, built in 1537 by Kempe Gowda, is a beautiful depiction of Dravidian style architecture. The river Vrishabhavati is said to have its source at the foot of Nandi. The bull's whole sculpture is cut from a single granite boulder, measuring 4.5 metres tall and 6.5 metres wide.

8. Halasuru Someshwara Temple

Halasuru Someshwara Temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and is located in the suburbs of Halasuru in Bengaluru. The temple is the oldest in the city, dating back to the Chola dynasty. The Hoysalas built the temple in the 12th and 13th centuries, and it is presently controlled and maintained by the Karnataka government's Endowment Department.

The magnificent sculptures of Ravana clutching the Kailash Parvat to appease Lord Shiva, Goddess Durga defeating Mahishasura and scenes from Lord Shiva and Parvati's wedding, pictures of the Saptarishis, etc., are some of the most fascinating aspects of the temple. 

The shrine, which was built in the Vijayanagar style of architecture, is known for its magnificent carvings on the walls and serene interiors. 9. Bangalore Aquarium

The Bangalore Aquarium, located in Cubbon Park, is India's second-largest aquarium. This aquarium, which opened in 1983, features a variety of ornamental and exotic fish on display, including Siamese Fighters, Catla and many others. It's also a great spot for some light sightseeing.

The aquarium is a three-storey skyscraper in the shape of a diamond. The first floor comprises of 14 tanks, while the second floor has 69 tanks with different cultivable fish and marine life. Eels, angelfish, hockey stick tetra, red-tail shark, and moon tail are some fish that may be viewed at the aquarium.

10. Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum

In honour of Bharat Ratna holder Sir M Visvesvaraya, the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum was constructed in Bengaluru. 

The museum's exceptional design was influenced by historical, scientific gadgets and machinery such as the Wright Brothers Kitty Hawk, flying Stimulator, and other artefacts. Surreal images and graphics of changing climates, various sea and land movements, and numerous planetary positions serve as the backdrop. The centre features seven permanent gallery displays that include numerous exhibits such as a steam engine, aeroplanes, and motor power, among other things. 

The museum also offers a virtual gaming zone, a miniature planetarium, and a 3-dimensional visual projection centre for entertainment. The museum's interactive presentations and activities aim to emphasise the value of science in everyday life.
