These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the BHIM App x Akasa Air Offer (the "Offer"). The Offer is offered, funded, administered and settled solely by NPCI BHIM Services Limited, [a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013] and having its registered office at [1001A, B Wing, The Capital, G Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra 400051] ("NBSL"), and is made available in respect of Eligible Bookings made on the Akasa Platforms operated by SNV Aviation Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and having its registered office at Urmi Estate, Tower A, 12th Floor, 95 Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, Lower Parel (W), Mumbai 400 013, carrying on business under the brand name "Akasa Air" ("Akasa Air").
Akasa Air is not the offeror of the Cashback and does not fund, process, credit, reverse or otherwise administer the Cashback. Akasa Air's role is limited to enabling the designated payment flow on the Akasa Platforms. By availing the Offer, the customer accepts these Terms.
1. Definitions
1.1 "Akasa Platforms" means the Akasa Air website at www.akasaair.com and the Akasa Air mobile application on Android and iOS. The Offer is not available on bookings made through travel agents, online travel agents, GDS, corporate portals, airport counters or the contact centre.
1.2 "BHIM App" means the BHIM mobile application owned and operated by NBSL.
1.3 "Cashback" means the amount payable by NBSL to a New User under Clause 3.
1.4 "Eligible Booking" means a booking of Akasa Air air transportation made and paid for in Indian Rupees on the Akasa Platforms. It does not include group, corporate or agency bookings, gift vouchers or credit shells, or the payment of change, cancellation, no-show or excess baggage charges.
1.5 "Eligible Transaction" means a single successful payment of not less than the Minimum Transaction Value, made by a New User during the Offer Period towards an Eligible Booking through the designated UPI payment flow on the BHIM App, being that New User's first-ever successful UPI transaction on the BHIM App.
1.6 "Minimum Transaction Value" means ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only).
1.7 "New User" means a customer who has never successfully completed a UPI transaction using the BHIM App at any time prior to the relevant Eligible Transaction.
1.8 "Offer Period" means the period from 00:00 hours IST on 15 July 2026 to 23:59 hours IST on 15 August 2026 (both days inclusive), extendable only by mutual written agreement of the parties.
1.9 "RuPay Credit Card on UPI" means a RuPay credit card linked to a customer's UPI handle on the BHIM App in accordance with applicable RBI directions and NPCI circulars.
1.10 "UPI" means the Unified Payments Interface operated by the National Payments Corporation of India.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Offer is valid only for New Users of the BHIM App.
2.2 The Offer applies only to a New User's first-ever successful UPI transaction on the BHIM App, being an Eligible Transaction made for booking an Akasa Air ticket on the Akasa Platforms.
2.3 The Offer may be availed only once per New User during the Offer Period, irrespective of the number of UPI IDs, devices, bank accounts or cards used. New-User status is determined by NBSL by reference to the customer's registered mobile number.
2.4 The Offer applies only to Eligible Bookings paid for through the designated payment flow using the BHIM App, and only where the payment is not less than the Minimum Transaction Value.
3. Cashback
3.1 Savings / Current Account / UPI Lite. A New User completing an Eligible Transaction using savings account UPI, current account UPI or UPI Lite will receive an instant Cashback of ₹100 (Rupees One Hundred only).
3.2 RuPay Credit Card on UPI. A New User completing an Eligible Transaction using a linked RuPay Credit Card on BHIM app will receive an instant Cashback of ₹125 (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty-Five only).
3.3 A New User is entitled to one Cashback only. The applicable Cashback is determined by the payment method used for the New User's first-ever successful UPI transaction on the BHIM App. Once that transaction is completed, the customer is no longer a New User and no further Cashback is payable under either Clause 3.1 or Clause 3.2.
3.4 Cashback is credited by NBSL on successful completion of the Eligible Transaction, following NBSL's automated verification at the time of the transaction that the customer is a New User and that the Minimum Transaction Value is met. Where Cashback is not credited instantly, NBSL will credit or decline it, and inform the customer, within [five (5) business days]
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1 The change, cancellation and refund of any Akasa Air booking is governed solely by Akasa Air's fare rules, tariffs and Conditions of Carriage, and is unaffected by the Offer or by any Cashback credited.
4.2 The Cashback forms no part of the fare or of the amount payable to Akasa Air. Cashback already credited will not be recovered from, adjusted against or set off against any refund payable by Akasa Air or any amount payable to Akasa Air.
4.3 Where a booking against which Cashback was credited is cancelled or refunded, NBSL may recover the Cashback from the customer in accordance with its own terms. Any such recovery lies solely against the customer
5. General Terms
5.1 Participation in the Offer is voluntary. Cashback is credited only after a successful Eligible Transaction.
5.2 NBSL may, acting reasonably, withhold, decline or recover any Cashback obtained or attempted to be obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, automated or scripted means, multiple or duplicate accounts, or any other circumvention of these Terms.
5.3 Each of NBSL and Akasa Air may modify, suspend or withdraw the Offer on prior written notice to the other. Any such change takes effect prospectively only and does not affect any Eligible Transaction completed beforehand. Akasa Air may in addition suspend or withdraw from the Offer with immediate effect where required by law or by a regulatory authority.
5.4 NBSL determines all matters of eligibility and Cashback amount reasonably and in good faith.
5.5 The Offer is provided, funded and administered solely by NBSL. Akasa Air makes no representation, warranty or undertaking of any nature in relation to the Offer or the Cashback and has no liability whatsoever (in contract, tort, under statute or otherwise) to any customer or to NBSL in respect of the Offer, including in respect of the non-credit, delayed credit, incorrect credit, reversal, withholding, recovery or withdrawal of any Cashback, or any failure, unavailability or malfunction of the BHIM App, UPI or any RuPay Credit Card on UPI.
5.6 Neither party is liable for any technical failure, network issue, payment-gateway failure or other circumstance beyond its reasonable control that prevents a customer from availing the Offer.
5.7 The Cashback is personal to the New User and is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No alternative benefit is provided in lieu of the Cashback.
5.8 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes relating to the Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
6. Queries and Grievance Redressal
6.1 All queries, complaints and disputes relating to the Offer or the Cashback must be directed solely to NBSL at bhim.support@npci.org.in.
6.2 Queries relating to bookings, fares, changes, cancellations, refunds or travel must be directed to Akasa Air's published customer-service channels. Those channels are not responsible for, and will not respond to, queries relating to the Cashback.
