This section outlines the free baggage policy for both domestic and international flights, ensuring you stay informed about check-in and hand baggage limits, additional allowances for infants, and guidelines for special items.

In addition to one piece of hand baggage, you can carry one additional personal item that fits under the seat in front of you and weighs 3 kgs or less. 

Below is an illustrative list of personal articles. Final acceptance of such articles is subject to security screening: 

• Handbag/purse/small waist pouch (fanny pack)
• Binoculars or camera or camera bag
• Laptop or notebook in a slim bag/tablet in a sleeve
• Overcoat, light jacket or wrap
• Folding umbrella ( compact, folding type only)
• Neck pillow
• Medicines required onboard ( inhalers, small medication packs)
• Reasonable amount of reading material
• Small amount of duty-free goods ( packaged/purchased airside where permitted)

For passengers flying with Infants: 

• Baby food/formula for the flight
• Feeding bottles
• Small carry-on tote for food and bottles

 

Infant Baggage Allowance

Domestic Travel:

• Hand Baggage: One handbag up to 7 kgs and 115 cms (L+W+H), shall be allowed per customer.
• Check In Baggage: NIL 

International Travel:

• Hand Baggage: One handbag up to 7 kgs and 115 cms (L+W+H), shall be allowed per customer.
• Check In Baggage: NIL
• One stroller or baby pram per infant is allowed without any charge.

 

Alcoholic beverages 

Passengers may carry up to 5 Litres of alcoholic beverages as part of their checked-in baggage, provided the following conditions are met:

• The alcoholic beverage is in retail packaging and is packed appropriately (to prevent damage / leakage).
• Alcohol content in the beverage is not more than 70%. 

If the alcoholic beverage contains 24% or less alcohol by volume the above limitation of 5 Litres does not apply.

The alcoholic beverages is also permitted in carry-on baggage when purchased from the Airport Security Hold Area and should be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag of a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 Litre. The indicative size of the 1 Litre bag is: 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm or 25 cm x 15 cm or equivalent. The containers must fit comfortably within the bag, which should be fully closed.

The passengers must comply with other applicable state / national regulations, if any.

 

Additional information:

• Passengers are permitted to carry up to five (5) litres of Holy Water (including Zamzam water) as checked-in baggage, provided it is properly packed in a sealed and leak- proof container. This will form part of the applicable checked-in baggage allowance made available to the passengers for their flights.
• Eligible passengers who have purchased student fare can carry one piece / bag up to 25 kg on domestic flights only
