- Akasa Air offers up to 05% discount on the basic fare for flight bookings on the domestic sector.
- The Medical Professional Discount is valid for domestic one-way and return flight bookings.
- Bookings under Medical Professional Discount are changeable and refundable, but not transferable (no name changes shall be permitted once the booking has been done).
- Medical Professional Discount is only available to medical professionals with valid healthcare professional ID, or the registration number as issued by a Government body, such as, the Medical Council of India (MCI), State Medical Council or Indian Nursing Council (INC) for Doctors and Nurses, or by the Government approved healthcare organization for which the medical professional works.
- It is mandatory for the medical professional to carry a hard copy of their original ID card as mentioned above.
- Passengers availing the Medical Professional Discount must display the aforementioned ID cards at Akasa Air’s airport check-in counter. The airport staff can ask for an additional Government issued photo ID like Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, PAN Card to revalidate the authenticity of the ID provided. If the relevant proof is not produced, the passenger must pay the corresponding charges/fees, else boarding will be refused.
- Only a limited number of seats are available under Medical Professional Discount, which will be available for booking on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Medical Professional Discount cannot be clubbed with any other offer, discount or promotion.
- Akasa Air maintains the right to modify, cancel, or withdraw Medical Professional Discount at any time, without prior notice.
- All Akasa Air flight bookings made with the Medical Professional Discount shall be subject to Akasa Air’s conditions of carriage available at www.akasaair.com.
- Akasa Air’s decision with respect to the transactions under the Medical Professional Discount, shall be final and binding on all participating passengers.
- By making an Akasa Air flight booking, the passenger: (i) unconditionally and irrevocably agrees to these terms and conditions; and (ii) consents that all information provided by the passenger may be shared by Akasa Air with its agents, representatives, service providers, employees, and may be used to send promotional information pertaining to Akasa Air to the passenger, in future.
- The Medical Professional Discount will be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India, and all matters related to this fare are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
